Storm water gets deep on a flat roof
SERVPRO of West Forsyth County was called out late one evening to mitigate and extract water coming in to a commercial building. When we arrived on the scene We discovered the roof drains were clogged and the roof was holding 6 inches or more of water.
We found the roof drains and cleared debris and leafs from obstructing the pipes. However the damage was done and it was basically raining inside this commercial structure. But preventing the roof from collapsing and routing the water away from the building was our first priority.
Building maintenance is key to both commercial and residential properties. Gutters and roof drains have to be clear of debris in order to work effectively.
