Flash Flood Storm Floods Basement Bedroom

Flash floods can appear quickly and unexpectedly. Here you can see how high the water flooded this Winston Salem home. The water mark is approximately 8-10 inches high on the closet door. 

SERVPRO of West Forsyth County responded to this water damage and extracted the water, removed carpet and pad. We set equipment to facilitate drying of all the wet materials of the home structure. We cut the wet sheet rock out to prevent mold and to accelerate drying within the walls. The after picture is after mitigation and during the drying process.
